Ken W. Swindle, the chief investigator at Prince, Glover & Hayes, recently received recognition for his efforts to foster trust and allegiance with the African American community of greater Tuscaloosa.
The annual Realizing the Dream conference, a yearly event held on Martin Luther King, Jr. day, serves to highlight citizens making a difference in our community. It is presented by Shelton State Community College, Stillman College, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (Tuscaloosa Chapter) and the University of Alabama.
The Reverend Tyshawn Carter introduced Chief Swindle, citing his efforts with the Police Athletic League, the State Board of Alabama Special Olympics, Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police, and FOCUS on Senior Citizens. Chief Swindle’s previous accolades include the Tuscaloosa Exchange Club Police Officer of the year, the Liberty Bell Award from the Tuscaloosa Bar Association, the Alabama Crime Prevention Network Award, and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership award.
Since 1990, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Realizing the Dream Committee has worked to energize the fight against injustice and to inspire the creation of peace and empowerment. We at Prince, Glover & Hayes are very proud to be associated with Chief Swindle!
