At The Young Firm, our maritime and admiralty attorneys are dedicated to providing superior legal counsel to clients injured as a result of another party’s reckless, careless, or negligent conduct. We meticulously prepare each case and are committed to protecting the rights of the catastrophically injured. For more than 50 years, our attorneys have been focusing on maritime and Jones Act law.
Tim Young has been helping injured seamen and maritime workers for more than 23 years. He graduated from Tulane Law School with honors and has built a law firm that only helps seamen. Tim has lectured at attorney conferences on maritime laws and has appeared on television numerous times discussing the rights of injured offshore workers. He and his wife, Helen, have two wonderful children, George and Julia, and an adorable Westie named Simon. Both he and Helen were born and raised in New Orleans, and when they’re not working, they love to travel. After handling Jones Act and maritime injury claims for more than 23 years, chances are Tim has helped someone in your same situation before!
In addition to his experience litigating Jones Act and other maritime claims, Tim has successfully handled a variety of claims involving sexual harassment, premises liability, auto accidents, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation.
