If you suffered economic or property damages due to the BP oil spill in the Gulf, the deadline to file your claims is June 8, 2015.

The Economic and Property Damages (E&PD) Settlement Class includes people, businesses, other entities and properties in the states of Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi. Certain counties in Texas and Florida are also included in the settlement area.

If you suffered economic loss or property damage as a result of the Deep Horizon oil spill, this settlement will pay your damages. There is no limit on the total dollar amount of this settlement. All timely and qualified claims will be paid in full once they are approved.

If you are a Class member, you may request payments in one or more of the following categories:

  • Economic Damage
  • Vessel Physical Damage
  • Vessels of Opportunity Charter Payment
  • Real Property Sales Damage
  • Loss of Subsistence
  • Wetlands Real Property Damage
  • Coastal Real Property Damage

Coastal Real Property payments are available for property that suffered damage in connection with the Deepwater Horizon incident. Economic Damages will be paid if you’re an individual or entity that lost profits or earnings as a result of the Deepwater Horizon disaster.

If you are a member of the Class Action lawsuit, you must submit a claim form to request a payment.  You may get a copy of the various claims forms by visiting the website at www.DeepwaterHorizonSettlements.com.
