During the BP Oil Spill — the largest in our nation’s history — more than 200 million gallons of crude oil was leaked into the Gulf of Mexico for a total of 87 days. If you or your business was harmed by the tragic accident in 2010, you may be able to get payments from the Deepwater Horizon Settlement Program.

The final stage of the BP oil spill claims process unfolds this summer as the deadline to submit a claim in the Economic and Property Damages Settlement is June 8th, 2015. If you lived, worked, owned or leased property in the Gulf Coast area between April 20, 2010 and April 16, 2012 and experienced economic loss due to the oil spill, you may be eligible to file a claim before the fast-approaching deadline.

Be sure to tune in to channel Fox 6 LawCall this Sunday night after the 10 o’clock news. Attorneys Kirby Farris and Jim Patton will be answering your legal questions about the BP Oil Spill claims process, and explain what the upcoming deadline means for Birmingham business owners.
